New Scorecard (Matt) The proof of the new card is being done now and the new card should be ready by the end of May. The proof will be sent to the committee. The Pin Location Sheet is also going to be changed.
Update on Schools “Paying Back” (Matt) After the District Tournaments on 4/13 and 4/14, plans will be made for the schools using the course to be paying back for their use by assisting perhaps with filling divots, repairing ball marks and picking up trash. One team has been suspended for two weeks with two players suspended for a month.
PRIDE Action Plan (Bruce) The major focus of our committee is the PRIDE Action Plan. Last year divot tools were distributed. Suggestions should be made of other ways to implement the PRIDE plan at our next meeting. Stan Chavez suggested that the starters remind players to put sand in divots, repair ball marks on the green, etc.
New Business Steve Torrance is leaving Stonebridge for Gleneagles. Thanks to Steve for his work on the Golf Committee. The question of the size and speed of Friday’s Noon Game was brought up. Matt said that the size is limited and that the people who had their game interrupted played a fast round. The next committee meeting will be on May 7th at 6:00 pm. Bruce asked the ladies representing the RLGA and the Nine Hole Ladies stay after the meeting.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:10pm.
